About
Leesha Monson is a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist specialising in women’s health, relationships, sexuality and work with young people. Leesha is a knowledgeable and empathetic counsellor who believes that connection and authenticity are essential elements in the therapeutic process. Leesha understands that we all seek a life of meaning and connection and without this, we can feel lost and alone. Inevitably, situations in our lives come up that we struggle to make sense of. They may not be in line with how we see ourselves and we begin to wonder who we really are. Leesha creates a safe and supported environment to allow you to explore your vulnerabilities and identify your strengths in times of struggle and in times of change. Leesha truly believes that everyone is capable of recovery, growth and transformation.
Leesha holds a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling as well as a Post-Graduate and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Throughout her career she has worked extensively in the field of sexuality with a strong focus on the wellbeing of sexually and gender diverse youth. She is highly knowledgeable about pregnancy complications, grief, loss and addiction. Leesha implements a diverse range of therapies in her practise including narrative therapy, EFT and CBT.
Leesha is a highly experienced sexuality educator, writer and trainer. She delivers engaging presentations on all things sexuality and gender to parents, school, corporate, community and sporting groups.
